Your PD is the distance between the center of one pupil to the center of the other in millimeters. This measurement is necessary to center your prescription on your lenses for accurate vision correction. The average PD is between 57mm and 65mm.

If your prescription is greater than -/+4.00, it would be wise to go for high index lenses. We offer lightweight, thin lenses that won’t make your eyes look big behind the lenses.
A prescription that ranges between +/-.025 to +/-2.00 is considered light, the range between +/-2.25 to +/-4.00 is considered average, and anything more than +/-4.00 is considered severe (for severe prescriptions, we recommend our high-index lenses).
